Vampire Community Town Hall - Facebook, 424 members as of June 2016. The purpose of the this group is to provide a platform where young members of the Vampire Community can come together, brainstorm, share ideas and work towards community progression, making the changes we want to see, and for community leaders to network and help make these ideas come to fruition. Elders are present here as advisors to help empower the younger generation of vampires, by providing support and guidance where needed, and to help the younger leaders step up to the plate.
This group is open to all, especially the young members of the Vampire Communty. So feel free to chime in, voice concerns, make input, and share ideas. It is a forum for all to contribute ideas for what they'd like to see and where community matters are discussed.
Diversity of opinion is welcomed.
This is not a House and does not have any political affiliations. It has NO authority over the Vampire Community at large. It is NOT a governing body and will not police the VC.
Carpathian Magistratus Vampyre Society (AUS) -
The Carpathian Magistratus Vampyre Society (or CMVS for short) was first born in the mind of Joanne Perry (aka Morella Eastgate) in the 1980s after reading alleged factual accounts of dealings with vampires. This finally became a reality in 1993 with the formation of the Carpathian Magistratus Vampyre Society. The aim was to bring together people interested in the stories, art and mythology of vampires to both revive the old and create new.
We are a society that appreciates the literature, poetry, researching myths and legends, movies, music and art. We encourage people to submit their art, music, poetry, literature, factual research, movie, book and music reviews and we endeavour to be an information network. We will be hosting quarterly picnics and working with new businesses and of course some old contacts.
We will aim to publish, at least a couple of times a year, a magazine showcasing art and literature contributed by you, the members. We would also like to feature investigative articles examining factual or mythical accounts of vampires and analysing the facts, psychology, etc.
So please, start contributing.
We will aim to hold functions at which various kinds of art and music can be expressed, with the support of local businesses, with our main annual event being the BloodLust Ball. We hope to have this event in the style of a Grand Ball similar to those in the 17th and 18th centuries. Of course with Vampyres as the theme.

The Vampire Court of Austin - 3000 Facebook members as of May 2015 - The VCA, despite certain terminology used, is mostly democratic. Every Vampire in this city has a voice and a time and place for that voice to be heard. We have a Council that will deliberate in order to ensure the will of our people and keep our relationships strong. Our bonds are deep, our trust is always earned, and our motivations are always clear. We promote being open, being free, sharing community, understanding, family and the support of our home. Austin as a whole is our priority, we are not introverted and we wish to see good things happen for everyone in this city.
The VCA works as a whole out in the open to do good for the community with such acts as charity and volunteer work.
